Everytime we talk, I fall a little harder.

I don’t know why. Ikaw lang ang nakakagawa sakin ng ganito, yung kapag kausap kita iba yung nararamdaman ko. Sa sobrang close na natin sa isa’t isa hindi ko maiwasan magkagusto sayo kasi napapasaya mo ako sa simpleng pag uusap natin. Hindi ko alam kung anong meron sayo o sa ginagawa mo pero iba talaga nararamdaman ko kapag ikaw na yung kumakausap. Sa simpleng text o chat mo sakin napapasaya mo ang buong araw ko. Sa oras na badtrip o wala sa mood ako napapa good vibes mo ako palagi. Sabi nga nila “Hindi mo maiiwasang ma attached sa isang taong sobrang close mo lalo na’t palagi mong nakakausap o nakaka-tismisan”. Hindi mo masisisi tong puso ko kung nahuhulog ako sa bawat pagiging sweet mo sakin, kalooban ko na ang may gustong mahulog sayo at nagpapadala ako. Pasensya na at hindi ko kayang iwasan. Kahit sa simpleng pangungumusta mo nagiging okey na agad ako. Anong meron sayo bakit ko ito nararamdaman?

Kirsty Mitchell’s late mother Maureen was an English teacher who spent her life inspiring generations of children with imaginative stories and plays. Following Maureen’s death from a brain tumour in 2008, Kirsty channelled her grief into her passion for photography.

She retreated behind the lens of her camera and created Wonderland, an ethereal fantasy world. The photographic series began as a small summer project but grew into an inspirational creative journey.
